Extramurs (beyond walls). Creative summer workshop for young people

This exhibition originates from a collaborative creative process that took place in a summer workshop organized by La Capella and Museu Tàpies in July 2026. This workshop was composed of young people aged 13 to 17. It is part of the Extramurs Project, which is organized in collaboration with Escola Massana and Tantàgora.

During the workshop, participants explored the work of artist Dora García—specifically her Frases d’or (Golden Phrases) series, in which she compiles quotes from writers, philosophers, and creators using gold leaf. After working alongside the artist, the participants created their own phrases.

The final works displayed here were produced collectively in the Escola Massana screen-printing workshop, with the guidance of instructor Thais Granero.
