妈妈,我们今天吃什么?/ Mummy, what are we going to eat today? is an experimental book that emerged as a quest for reconciliation and reconnection between the artist and her culture through cooking and beliefs. On the one hand, she represents the cuisine from Zhejiang province, focusing on Qingtian district and its dialect and viewing it as if it were a ritual, with the goal of disassociating Chinese cuisine from the concept of ‘fast food’. On the other, she also seeks to generate a medium that allows the artist to understand her bond with her mother and accept the way she expresses affection through food.
