Perquè m’agrada viure aquí (Because I like living here) has a more speculative character, rather than programmatic or affirmative. The initial approach is seemingly simple: to get two opposing materials, stone and butter, to coexist. Yet in the same way that Mikel Adán Tolosa opts for stone as a working material, reaching out to a formal tradition and some well-established procedures, he introduces butter aware that it is a non-cooperative and unconventional material with no disciplinary affiliation: a material that becomes a problem.
