Heat Shimmer, Hips Quiver, Open Smother, Lipped Lover suggests a curatorial approach based on a dialogue between the performance and installation work of Noela Covelo Velasco and Estanis Comella, in conversation with the textual practice of Quim Pujol and the scenographic production of Alejandro Andújar. The exhibition process takes shape through shared research in which scenography, text and performance act as catalysts. Space is not understood as a container, but rather as a dramaturgical structure capable of activating the body, voice and gesture, opening layers of work, research and formalisation. Collaboration enables the deployment of substrata connecting methodology and work, process and result, emphasising the production and thought conditions underpinning each of the respective projects.
