Salir a la calle: Calàbria 2005 / Hospital 2026 introduces a new exhibition format within La Capella’s Concèntric programme under the theme of La memòria dispersa [Dispersed memory], which offers a contemporary interpretation of selected past projects that were especially significant within Barcelona’s emerging art scene. 

Salir a la calle y disparar al azar was a one-day exhibition-event curated by David G. Torres and held on Thursday 22 December 2005 at what was then Antonio Ortega’s studio/workshop on Carrer de Calàbria. The show brought together local artists, leading international figures, musicians and others, united by a shared impulse to express a particular attitude towards art: one that doesn’t seek permission and doesn’t worry too much about where it might lead
