[THIS CALL IS ALREADY CLOSED]
Barcelona Producció is an annual public competition for grants for the development of artistic projects and is aimed at the art scene in Barcelona. Structured into a series of diverse categories – individual exhibitions, curatorial projects, research initiatives, publications, proposals for digital environments, off-site projects and performances – its contents form the core of the programming at the Centre d’Art La Capella.
The Barcelona Producció 2022-2023 open competition for grants offers production resources for exhibition and non-exhibition projects. With regard to the exhibitions, we continue to seek applications for the categories of solo and curatorial projects for the Espai Capella, the most iconic venue, and for a new space for experimental initiatives that we are opening: the Espai Rampa, a neutral room also intended for solo and curatorial projects. With regard to non-exhibition proposals, the categories encompassed are off-site, research, publication, digital environment and live performance art projects.
