Presentation of the novel Rara vez a los ojos by artist Àlex Palacín

The book revolves around the notion of aphantasia, a clinical condition also known as mental blindness—that is, the biological inability to see mental images. In the novel, a person with this condition decides to push their body's limits in order to see a mental image, and this attempt leads them on a journey made up of a series of landscapes, characters, and structures, each representing a different form of the idea of creation.
