Concèntric: La Capella / Club 9

Presentation of artists from Nau Estruch

Through Club 9, Nau Estruch and La Capella begin a process of collaboration dedicated to the performing arts. Throughout the course, the artists resident at Nau Estruch will visit La Capella to explain their projects.

On this first occasion, the people taking part in the Nau Estruch residencies are: Marta Moreno Muñoz, Alejandro Garófano López and Núria Roselló.

The collaboration between Nau Estruch and La Capella is part of the Concèntric programme, a programme of collaboration and complicity with similar spaces and projects.

 

MARTA MORENO MUÑOZ

Marta Moreno Muñoz (1978) is an artist and activist who works in different disciplines such as action art, video and other time-based arts. She has a degree in Fine Arts.

Her work has focused mainly on themes such as female subjectivity, the dissolution of the ego and the notion of pre-oedipal nostalgia, in response to a patriarchal reality.

 

ALEJANDRO GARÓFANO LÓPEZ

Alejandro Garófano López (Cádiz 2001). Graduated in the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Seville, the city where he lives and focuses his work on experimentation between current disciplines.

He works with video, painting and installation as the objectual result of a process based on his experience as a young man in contact with the concept of contemporary landscape and the hyper-stimulation it produces.

 

NURIA ROSELLÓ

Nuria Roselló (Lleida 1999) studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, later CFGS in sculpture applied to performance at the Ondara school in Tàrrega.

Nuria Roselló's work is based on the concepts of rubbish, territory, chaos, gaze, problem, emptiness, uselessness, route, limits, oblivion, intimacy, error, space, matter, reality, abandonment, contrast, illegal, beauty, city, information, value, time, identity, indifference, distance, truth, ephemeral, abjection, home, isolation and freedom.
