The project What the Cell! by Teresa Rubio is the winner of the educational and mediation category of the Barcelona Producció 2021 competition call.
The jury of the Barcelona Producció 2021 call is made up of Luz Broto, Joan Casellas, Pilar Cruz, Antònia Folguera and Alexandra Laudo, and Tonina Cerdà (head of Public Programmes and Education at MACBA) was also part of the jury for this category as an education specialist.
The jury highlighted the discursive soundness of Teresa Rubio’s proposal, with its ability to facilitate her own vision when it comes to understanding mediation in art, as well as her work dynamics with regard to a variety of audiences and her solid background over the years.
What the Cell! by Teresa Rubio will commence in early 2021 to coincide with the start of the new season of Barcelona Producció.
